Hey! We are at Maxis Public PlayBook (PB) Launch @ KLConvec. Nice setting and lots of activities. Freebies for those who answers simple questions correctly, and a car race using PB!
Launch started at 10am, and customers as well as BlackBerry enthusiasts starts filling the cavernous Exhibition Hall 4 after that.
Maxis is the first provider that brought in PB officially to our shores and they have exciting plans for existing customers and would be alike.
Customers who answers the call to pre-book their PB online for today launch, gets to experience, better understand the device and buy the device during the two sessions Maxis is conducting.
Apart from that, Maxis provide some stations for customers and would be buyers to explore what PB has in store for them.
Be it strictly for work or laid back leisure, PB is a device that one would want to have, to complement his or her BlackBerry smartphone.
As for Maxis One Club members, those who are buying the device, not only get to have breakfast at special space near the entrance, they would be given BlackkBerry Vehicle Power Adapter upon purchase.
And if they are amongst the first 600 customers, they would be given accessories pack worth RM288 which includes a BlackBerry convertible case and a micro HDMI cable. Cool ain't it?
The PB purchased today, not only comes with the standard features, customers would also get some other features like Finder301, Currency Converter, Formula1, Language Translator andd of course, Maxis WiFi. As for Maxis Movies, they can always get it from AppsWorld.
Almost all apps that one usually found in other smartphones would be made available in PB soon!
